Miranda Kerr Marries Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel in ‘Lavish and Classy’ L.A. Ceremony

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel are tying the knot!

Kerr and Spiegel are set to get married in an intimate ceremony in southern California on Saturday. Guests were spotted arriving at Spiegel’s Los Angeles home ahead of the wedding on Saturday evening, a source tells PEOPLE. Prior to the pair’s nuptials, caterers and employees were seen preparing for a big celebration in the backyard of Spiegel’s home.

It was an private small ceremony for family and friends — around 40 guests total — and everyone was chauffeured to Spiegel’s house in cars. The women were seen wearing colorful floor-length dresses and the men wore suits.

“For a small wedding, it has been a huge production,” a source tells PEOPLE. “The wedding and reception are intimate, but lavish and classy. Miranda has been very involved. She has great taste and knew exactly what she wanted. She is very sweet. She is ecstatic to marry Evan.”

The model, 34, and Snapchat CEO, 26, first met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in 2014, and were spotted out together in L.A. in June 2015.

The couple got engaged in late July 2016 and made their announcement on Spiegel’s app, featuring a custom-made filter, of course. Kerr debuted her gorgeous diamond ring, a round-cut center diamond set between two tapered baguettes, on Snapchat in a post decorated with Bitmoji caricatures of the couple.

Kerr previously dished on her fiancé’s low-key personality to The Edit in January. “He acts like he’s 50. He’s not out partying. He goes to work in Venice . He comes home. We don’t go out.”

And in February, Kerr opened up about the romance in an interview with The Times of London, revealing that she and Spiegel are waiting until after they’re married to have sex.

“My partner is very traditional,” she said, adding, “We can’t . . . I mean we’re just . . . waiting.”

Kerr was previously married to Orlando Bloom in 2010 and they welcomed their son Flynn a year later. The couple divorced in 2013, but have remained close friends and co-parents.

Pregnant Beyoncé Channels Michael Jackson in $4,950 Rhinestone Jacket at Jessica Alba’s Birthday Party

Beyoncé is a “Smooth Criminal” (and one glamorous twin mother-to-be)!

The pregnant songstress, 35, shared another one of her signature maternity photo shoots on her website and Instagram Friday, and this time she broke down her Prince and Michael Jackson-themed costume from Jessica Alba‘s 36th birthday on Apr. 28.

“Flashback to an MJ+Prince party, crystals and ruffles, and a screw mix by Derek Dixie,” Beyoncé, who rarely captions her social media posts, wrote along with a series of slideshows and images.

In one video — that featured background music of Jackson’s 1979 hit “Rock With You” — the mother of one displayed her $4,950 Any Old Iron rhinestone jacket, which was specially named after her.

She also wore a ruffled LBD and modeled two different booties.

And to (literally) top off her outfit, Bey brought back the custom Gladys Tamez Millinery hat, one of her favorite wide brim black accessories she wore earlier this month for her Lemonade-inspired look.

In late April, Alba hosted many of her celebrity friends at Los Angeles hotspot The Peppermint Club. Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland arrived together and gave the birthday girl a huge hug, a source previously shared with PEOPLE.

Also in attendance were Cash WarrenShay Mitchell, Nicole Richie and husband Benji Madden and Jaime King.

Last week, Bey celebrated her upcoming bundles of joy with friends and family at her and husband Jay Z‘s “Carter push party” in L.A.

Mom Tina Knowles Lawson shared fun photos and videos from the event, showing guests like Serena Williams (who is also pregnant), La La Anthony and Beyoncé’s Destiny’s Child bandmates Rowland and Michelle Williams wearing brightly patterned African-inspired outfits in an orange room with caterers working hard behind them.

As they wait for the babies to be born, Beyoncé and Jay Z, 47, have remained busy — overseeing renovations of their Holmby Hills rental home and have hired decorators for the twins’ nurseries.

“They plan on raising their twins in Los Angeles,” a source told PEOPLE about the previously Manhattan-based pair. “It’s their home base now, and this is where Blue goes to preschool. They’re all very happy in L.A.”

Bono Applauds George W. Bush’s Commitment to Fighting AIDS in Buddy-Buddy Photo

Though their successful careers are in vastly different genres, both Bono and George W. Bush share a passion for saving lives in Africa.

The lead singer of U2, 57, visited the former president’s Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas on Friday, ahead of the band’s sold-out Joshua Tree Tour concert at AT&T Stadium.

“More than 11 million people are alive today thanks to this man’s creation of PEPFAR, the U.S. AIDS program that has been saving lives and preventing new HIV infections for over 10 years, with strong support from political leaders right, left, and center,” the musician captioned a photo of the activists on Instagram. “That progress is all at risk now with President Trump’s budget cuts, which will mean needless infections and lives lost.”

Since leaving office in 2008, the former commander-in-chief and his Bush Center have worked to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic that threatened to wipe out an entire generation on the continent of Africa through PEPFAR, the AIDS relief program which was created in 2003.

“Bono is the real deal. He has a huge heart and a selfless soul, not to mention a decent voice. @laurawbush and I are grateful he came to the ranch to talk about the work of @thebushcenter, @onecampaign, @PEPFAR, and our shared commitment to saving lives in Africa,” Bush captioned the same photo.

In April, Bush wrote a Washington Post op-ed in which he urged readers to keep PEPFAR fully funded because approximately “12 million lives have been saved.”

“Nearly 15 years later, the program has achieved remarkable results in the fight against disease,” he wrote.

Bono co-founded ONE in 2004, and now the global campaign and advocacy organization has more than seven million members committed to taking action to end extreme poverty.

Manchester Victim Martyn Hett’s Brother Details ‘Surreal’ 48 Hours After Learning of Terrorist Attack

Martyn Hett was a victim of the Manchester terrorist attack that killed 22 people and hospitalized at least 59, and his brother Dan was the one to break the tragic news of the 29-year-old’s death to the world.

On Friday, Dan penned a detailed account for the Manchester Evening News of what happened in the 48 hours that followed the news of Martyn’s passing. Beginning with Monday’s Ariana Grande concert, Dan attempted to piece together his brother’s final night.

“He went to the gig with some friends. He was dancing, with a big stupid grin on his big stupid face for the whole time I’m sure,” Dan wrote. “And he went to get a drink. Then nothing. I know the layout of the Arena well and I knew very, very early on that if there was any chance he’d gone to the bar or the toilet there was just absolutely no way he had survived. But we still weren’t sure.”

Martyn, who was from Stockport, had been missing since he became separated from his friends.

“We were brought to the Etihad Stadium, where my parents and Martyn’s close friends had been since early morning,” Dan continued. “All the families with missing people had been there all day. We had to take the underground player’s tunnel to avoid the press outside. It got intense quickly. It was awful but we were united.”

Martyn’s partner, Russell Hayward, had also heard about the death confirmation.

“The emotion was too much and we decided to wait at home. We got our things together. Just as we got to the car park our family liaison officer called us back. That’s when we knew,” Dan recalled. “Martyn had ID on him. In a way we were lucky, other had to wait much longer to find out.”

In addition to his flashback of events, Dan thanked the many who offered support since the tragedy, specifically the police.

“The emergency services at every stage of this have been astonishing. The police have been incredible, the comfort we’ve had from them,” he said. “We’ve never been in the dark about any of it. I honestly don’t think we could have got through it as a family without them. They’ve been completely transparent with us when they were carrying out an unimaginable task.”

Understandably, the Hett family has been grieving and Dan described the amount of generosity he and his loved ones have received thus far.

they found my brother last night. we are heartbroken.

— Dan Hett (@danhett) May 24, 2017

“Every facet of support that we’ve needed has been met and exceeded. Everyone has been so supportive – right down to the little things,” he continued. “Massive piles of pizza turned up, every possible kind of supply for the families. I was never without a cup of coffee in my hand, just constantly supported in every little way right down to the shops not taking our money when we needed to nip out for bits and pieces. The spirit of generosity has been unreal.”

Adding, “On behalf of my family, I really just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out. We are tens of thousands of messages in, dozens and dozens of bunches of flowers and chocolates and teddies. We’re swamped at my mum’s house.”

As for why Dan chose to speak out in a public manner, he gave some background on Martyn’s personality and character.

“I know a lot of people want some level of privacy during this type of thing but I think the manner in which Martyn lived, he was such a known figure, it’s quite fitting to who he was,” he said. “I hate going into clichés but Martyn just had this completely unstoppable lust for life, it was unbelievable. He was the most memorable character you could conceive of. Annoying as f— all day but just the most memorable guy. We were joking about it but the idea that he’s received so many messages on Twitter and then been trending is just stupendously fitting a tribute for him really, as silly as that sounds. There is no one else I know that would evoke the same level of response.”

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor Split After 17 Years of Marriage

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are splitting after 17 years of marriage.

The pair released a joint statement to PEOPLE on Friday.

“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time,” Stiller, 51, and Taylor, 45, said.

The actors wed in May of 2000 in Kauai, Hawaii, with Stiller popping the question to Taylor while in rehearsals for Meet the Parents in November 1997, following broken engagements with others (Stiller to actress Jeanne Tripplehorn and Taylor to director Jason Bloom).

Stiller and Taylor, who costarred in Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder, Arrested Development and Zoolander 2, are parents to daughter Ella, 15, and son Quinlin, 11.

“ relationship was a gradual thing that happened over a quick period of time, maybe seven or eight months,” Stiller told Parade about his relationship with Taylor in December 2013. “We just started hanging out with each other and it developed into, ‘Wow, this feels great. I really like this person. I think I love this person. I really do – I love this person.’ It hit me out of the blue.”

Entertainment Tonight was first to report.

Katy Perry Tearfully Pays Tribute to Victims of Manchester Terror Attack: ‘I’m Going to Sing for Them’

Katy Perry paid tribute to the 22 victims killed in the terrorist bombing that followed an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena on Monday.

The singer, 32, performed on Thursday at an intimate show for only 90 people inside London’s Water Rats club, the same venue where she made her U.K. debut 10 years ago.

Katy Kats from around the world also had “the best seat in the house” thanks to Perry, who live-streamed the concert on YouTube.

“This week has been really hard. It sucked. It was hard for you guys and it was hard for me because we all love music,” she said as she held back tears. “We all listen to the same music, and you think about it, and think that’s my friend, that’s my sister, that’s my brother, that’s my cousin, that’s the person that loves music.”

Adding, “It’s awful, and whatever you can do to help, you should. And if you can’t do anything that’s fine, but what you should do is not let them win. I’m going to sing this next song for them. They can never take that part from us ever. Ever. Can we have a moment of silence before we start? Let’s do this.”

Two days before her Water Rats show, Perry had a tearful interview with Elvis Duran when she spoke out in the aftermath of the horrific bombing.

“I can’t really tell anyone else how they should feel, but I just feel devastated. The U.K., they are just so passionate about music—just like anyone else, but they are just so in it, and so dedicated and so loyal,” she said.

Twenty-two people died, many of them teens and children, and around 75 were injured in the attack at Manchester Arena.

The deadly explosion occurred around 10:33 p.m. local time near the ticket office outside Manchester Arena, Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said. Investigators suspect the attack was carried out by Salman Abedi, 22, who detonated an improvised explosive device and died at the scene, Hopkins said.

According to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors militant communication, ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.

First Gentleman of Luxembourg, Who’s Married to World’s Only Openly Gay Prime Minister, Poses With Spouses of World Leaders

While President Donald Trump has met with many male heads of government, First Lady Melania Trump has often mingled with their wives. But on Thursday, Mrs. Trump was introduced to the First Gentleman of Luxembourg.

Gauthier Destenay, the husband of Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, joined Trump and other spouses for a dinner while their significant others attended a gathering as part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) conference in Brussels, Belgium.

Prime Minister Bettel, 44, and Belgian architect Destenay entered a civil partnership in 2010 and married in 2015 after Luxembourg’s legislators approved gay marriage. Bettel became the first openly gay Prime Minister of Luxembourg in December 2013, after an election campaign in which his sexuality was not a secret nor an issue.

Bettel is the world’s only gay head of government since Iceland’s former Prime Minister Johanna Sigurðardóttir, a lesbian, and Belgium’s Elio Di Rupo finished their mandates in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

“I have just one life, and I don’t want to hide my life,” Bettel previously said in an interview. “But I was not the ‘gay candidate.’ People didn’t vote for me because I’m gay or I’m straight.”

In April, Bettel and Destenay irked conservative members of the Catholic Church when they were invited to Rome by Pope Francis to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the European Union’s founding Treaty Of Rome. Others saw the visit as a “powerful message” on the Vatican’s position on gay rights.

Also in attendance at the dinner with Destenay and Trump were First Lady of France Brigitte Macron, First Lady of Turkey Emine Gulbaran Erdogan, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Ingrid Schulerud, Desislava Radeva, Amelie Derbaudrenghien, Mojca Stropnik and First Lady of Iceland Thora Margret Baldvinsdottir.

Earlier in the day, President Trump came under fire for appearing to shove Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic aside to get to the front of a group during a photo-op with NATO leaders.

Members were seen walking together to get to a meeting when Trump emerged from behind and pushed Markovic aside, stepping in front of him. The president then smugly straightened in his jacket.

“Some of the leaders interacted with one another on stage, but not Trump,” members of the press stated in a pool report. “He stood silently, shifting his stance at moments and looking around.”

They said, “Trump smiled for a brief moment, but otherwise kept a serious, perhaps even stern, expression on his face for the duration of the photo-op.”

Bethenny Frankel Comes Clean on Her Long-Rumored Fling with Alex Rodriguez — Did They Actually Date?

Alex Rodriguez may be girlfriend Jennifer Lopez‘s Man Crush Monday these days, but years before, the retired Yankees player almost got Real with his fellow Shark Tank guest judge.

Real Housewives of New York‘s Bethenny Frankel dished on her history with Rodriguez, 41, whom she allegedly dated back in the day, during her appearance on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

When asked by host Andy Cohen if she ever dated the MLB legend, the mother of one, 46, responded: “What is used to date mean? I went out with him on two dates.”

And as for what Frankel thought of Rodriguez’s lip-locking skills? “I honestly don’t remember,” she admitted.

The pair was rumored to have dated in early 2009 after his divorce from Cynthia Scurtis, whom he was married to for five years and has two daughters with: Natasha, 12, and Ella, 9.

Fast forward to the present, J-Rod is officially a couple.

In March, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Lopez and Rodriguez had “been dating for a few weeks.” The athlete confirmed their relationship status during an appearance on The View, and the pair most recently made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2017 Met Gala.

Lopez — who is mother to 9-year-old twins Max and Emme — and Rodriguez have gone on tropical vacations together, dined at a slew of upscale restaurants and recently celebrated Easter as one big family with their kids.

Also on Wednesday, Frankel cleared up more romance rumors — this time with Eric Stonestreet, whom she was romantically linked to in July 2015.

“We met and decided we make much better friends,” said Stonestreet, who was also a guest on WWHL. “But she’s a wonderful kisser,” he joked.

California Mom Who Attended Every Class With Quadriplegic Son Surprised with Honorary MBA at His Graduation

Judy O’Connor had accompanied her quadriplegic son, Marty, to every class at Chapman University for the past two years as his note-taker and caregiver.

And on May 20, the mother-son pair proudly attended the 29-year-old student’s MBA graduation in Orange, California. But there was also a very special surprise.

As the O’Connors stopped to take a graduation photo on the main stage, an emotional announcement was heard over the loudspeaker.

“We now have a special individual who the faculty, the administration, and the board of trustees have decided to honor with an honorary MBA degree,” the speaker tearfully said. “Mrs. Judith O’Connor has attended all the classes with her son, Marty, who just received his MBA. She has taken notes and worked with Marty throughout his academic career. At the suggestion of her son, and with the support of all the relevant bodies we are honored to award an honorary MBA to Mrs. O’Connor.”

Judy, a retired elementary school teacher with a business degree from Notre Dame, relocated from Florida to California in 2013 to care for her son, who was paralyzed after falling down a flight of stairs in August 2012.

“It was a wonderful privilege to be able to do this for him,” Judy said minutes after the ceremony, according to The Orange County Register. “You get a spinal cord injury — I couldn’t fix it, but I could do this for him.”

Marty, who was a former competitive snowboarder and volleyball player, wanted to honor and thank his mother so asked the university to keep it a secret until graduation day. “She’s been instrumental in the past two years,” he told the OC Register. “There’s no way I would have achieved my level of success without her.”

During classes, Marty found it difficult to take notes and tests, though the University of Colorado alum worked with an iPad, laptop, voice recognition software and a special stylus.

“The last two years have been a whirlwind, it’s been extremely challenging but even more so, rewarding,” Marty recalled in a recent feature shared on Chapman’s blog.

“I’m a geek. I love being in school. I’m not going to lie. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” Judy gushed.

‘Inseparable’ Teen Couple Identified as Victims in Manchester Terrorist Attack: ‘They Wanted to Be Together Forever and Now They Are’

Liam Curry, 19, and Chloe Rutherford, 17 — who were among the 22 killed at the Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena — spent their last night together.

On Wednesday, Greater Manchester Police released a statement from the families of Curry and Rutherford, who were both from South Shields, South Tyneside.

“On the night our daughter Chloe died and our son Liam died, their wings were ready but our hearts were not. They were perfect in every way for each other and were meant to be,” the statement read.

“They were beautiful inside and out to ourselves and our families, and they were inseparable. Chloe always described herself as ditzy who Liam adored and would do anything for, including dealing with Chloe’s demands for chocolate. They lived to go to new places together and explore different cities. They wanted to be together forever and now they are,” the statement concluded.

The couple had not been in touch with family members since Monday’s explosion. Friend Dawn Finnigan sent out a string of tweets in search of Rutherford and Curry, adding that family members had been in touch with police.

Liam was a waiter at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and was studying applied sport and exercise science at Northumbria University, according to his Facebook account. Chloe often shared selfies of her and her boyfriend on her Facebook account.

Tragically, Liam’s father, Andrew Curry, died nine weeks before the Manchester terrorist attack, according to The Mirror. Andrew reportedly passed on March 18 at age 49 after a long cancer battle.

The deadly explosion occurred around 10:33 p.m. local time near the ticket office outside the arena, Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said. Investigators suspect the attack was carried out by Salman Abedi, 22, who detonated an improvised explosive device and died at the scene, Hopkins said.

Police have also arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the attack, according to Hopkins.

According to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors militant communication, ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Michelle Kiss, Jane Tweddle-Taylor, 50, Sorrell Leczkowski, 14, Nell Jones, 14, Martyn Hett, 29, and Angelika and Marcin Klis, 40 and 42, are the latest victims confirmed dead.

Georgina Callander, 18, Saffie Rose Roussos, 8, John Atkinson, 26, Kelly Brewster, 32, Alison Howe, 44, Lisa Lees, 43, Olivia Campbell, 15, and Megan Hurley were named as casualties on Monday.

WATCH: Katy Perry Reveals Exactly What Led to Her Taylor Swift Feud: ‘She Started It’

Katy Perry is telling her side of the story as to what led to her feud with Taylor Swift — and the nearly three-year-long rivalry was all over backup dancers.

“There’s a situation. Honestly, it’s really like she started it, and it’s time for her to finish it,” Perry, 32, told Late Late Show host James Corden during his latest Carpool Karaoke installment that aired Monday night.

“It’s about backing dancers, there were three backing dancers,” Perry recalled.

“I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn’t speak to me.”

“I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble,” Perry continued. “It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me, and I’m like, ‘OK, cool, cool, cool, that’s how you want to deal with it? Karma!’ ”

Which made Corden ask the follow-up question: “Will the beef ever be off the grill?”

“But what I want to say is that I’m ready for that BS to be done,” Perry responded. “Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something, there’s going to be a reaction, and trust me, daddy, there’s going to be a reaction. It’s all about karma, right? I think personally that women together, not divided, and none of this petty bulls–t, women together will heal the world.”

In 2014, Swift told Rolling Stone that her song “Bad Blood” was about another female artist, though she has yet to disclose who specifically. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” Swift said. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”

Last week, Perry raised eyebrows when she released her latest single “Swish Swish,” which was assumed as a diss track by listeners and fans.

Ariana Grande Says She’s ‘Broken’ After Manchester Concert Explosion Results in 19 Deaths: ‘I Don’t Have Words’

Ariana Grande has spoken out about the devastating news of 19 people killed and at least 50 others injured in an explosion at her Manchester Arena concert in the U.K. on Monday night.

“Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words,” Grande tweeted following police confirmation of the number of deaths and injuries.

Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said the explosion occurred around 10:33 p.m. local time near the ticket office outside the arena following Grande’s Dangerous Woman show.

“We are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until we have further information,” Hopkins said in a press conference, adding: “The injured are being treated at six hospitals across Greater Manchester. My thoughts are with all those who have been affected and we are doing all we can to support them.”

The victims’ identities were not confirmed by authorities, though numerous reports highlighted Grande’s largely youth-skewing fan base, including children, teens and young adults.

“Ariana is okay,” her rep said in a statement to PEOPLE. “We are further investigating what happened.”

British Prime Minister Teresa May says her thoughts are with victims and families after what is being treated by police “as an appalling terrorist attack.”

Many from the music world and Hollywood celebrities expressed their condolences as well.

“It was the scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” concertgoer Esme Findlay, 20, told PEOPLE. “It was really loud; it sounded like a huge bang.”

Attendee Lori Templeton, 15, shared with PEOPLE: “It was so so loud. Everyone turned and looked, and people started screaming and running out exits and back into the arena. People were screaming and running and falling over chairs. It was really scary. … For the first time in my life, I thought I was going to die. “

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Are Expecting a Baby Boy

It’ll be a boy for Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Aldean!

The couple shared the happy news Monday on Instagram and celebrated with friends and family at their gender reveal party.

The Aldeans, along with Jason’s daughters Kendyl, 9, and Keeley, 14, popped two balloons that contained blue colored confetti, which indicated that the parents-to-be are expecting a baby boy.

Earlier this month, the country singer, 40, and his wife of two years announced they were expecting their first child.

The pair began dating in March 2014, tying the knot a year later in Mexico.

“I know she would like to have at least one kid,” Aldean told PEOPLE in October of his wife. “And I’m down for that. I love kids and being a dad is one of the best things in the world for me. If it’s meant to happen, it will. Only time will tell.”

And what about his daughters — are they ready for a new little sibling?

“Keeley’s always been a mother hen type with babies, so we’d have a built-in babysitter!” he shared. “And Kendyl has always been the little sister, so for her to be the big sister, I think she’d be pretty stoked.”
