Drew Barrymore on Her Dear Drew Clothing Line: It ‘Makes Me Happy’

Step into the Dear Drew pop up shop in New York City’s Soho neighborhood and you’ll want to book a vacation — and max out your credit card on pieces to pack for that vacation. But thanks to accessible price points you can shop the store (which Drew Barrymore and her interior design partner Francesca de la Fuente transformed in just three weeks) guilt-free.

“It’s everyone’s dream to have a pop up store, it feels like playing store,” Barrymore told PEOPLE at an opening event for Dear Drew at 14 Crosby. “We threw ourselves into it. When we got this space, it was genuinely a white box. And then I was like, ‘I know, let’s turn it into an interior of a train or an airport — a Pan Am or TWA terminal.”

As with everything Barrymore puts her mark on, accessibility was top of mind when designing her debut clothing line, which features a variety of apparel, jewelry and accessories, at prices ranging from $28 to $248, with a mission to “provide positive inspiration and a grounding voice to all women.”

“Price point is very important to me,” she said. “We know what’s happening on the runway, but we don’t want to charge those kind of prices.”

And Barrymore’s free-spirited style carries through her collection, with modern takes on retro silhouettes.

“Aggressively retro is not really our thing, but timeless and classic and not losing sight of elements that have a romance to them,” she explained. “I have the kind of body type that I have had to learn how to dress where it’s empowering and flattering but I like to cover up a lot of things, cinch at places, sometimes I go flowy and voluminous. It’s about mixing and matching.”

The focus on fit is something Barrymore has become committed to as a result of her work on countless sets and appearances on countless red carpets.

“I grew up in costume houses so I learned various lessons about tailoring from these women who have worked at Warner Brothers for fifty years and can tell you everything about why it was this way in a Western film or why it’s this way in the 1920s and how a dart and a gusset can make something so much more flattering. I just really loved that knowledge.”

And of course she pulled inspiration from all the vintage pieces in her own personal wardrobe.

“I bought so many clothes over the years, especially vintage stuff and tried to rework it in tailoring to suit me,” she shared. “I think there is something very important about the way it fits.”

Her attention to detail can also be seen on the sweet messages like “there’s beauty in everything” sewn into some of the pieces.

“We just like to do details like that — when I take a coat off and look inside, that kind of note makes me happy,” she shared. “And it’s not like the ‘Slay all day’ kind of message, because I’m like, ‘How do you do that?’”

Three of Barrymore’s favorite pieces at the store are the heart fanny pack (which is already sold out, but set for restock), lavender faux fur cropped jacket and the statement geometric earrings. But if you can’t make it to NYC, shop some of our top pics from Dear Drew’s selection at Amazon.

Shop Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s Christmas Card Jeans Now

In the past, the KarJenners have worn everything from gowns and tuxedos to matching moto jackets for their famous family Christmas card, but this year, under the art direction of Kim Kardashian West, the first family of Reality TV is giving us 25 days of Christmas which, in true KarJenner fashion, they are rolling out on social media. And the wardrobe is totally kasual.

So far we’ve seen Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, North and Saint West and Kourney’s youngest son Reign, keeping things simple in Vintage Levi’s. (The white tank tops and denim is actually very similar to their 2006 shoot in Malibu.)  The brand launched its Levi’s Authorized Vintage line featuring pre-worn pairs of jeans and trucker jackets (including style which are entirely unaltered) at select Levi’s locations in New York (Soho, Meatpacking and Williamsburg) as well as in its Malibu, California shops and Levi’s Tailor Shops around the world. The styles range in price from $148-$248.

But you can shop a very similar style to Kim and Kourtney’s Christmas Card pair online right now: The Levi’s 501 Selvedge Skinny Jeans in Summer Dune will cost you $148, but the memory of owning a piece of the KarJenner Christmas card will last forever.

You can also shop North and Saint’s children styles at levi.com.

Kris Jenner told PEOPLE in November that Kim quickly spearheaded the family Christmas card project.

“There’s a different CEO of my family every day,” Jenner told PEOPLE at the WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit last week. “This week Kim is CEO because she’s organizing the Christmas-card shoot.”

And with 20 days to go, we’re hoping for some more denim inspiration and maybe even a baby bump reveal.

Jenna Lyons Splits from Longtime Girlfriend Courtney Crangi

It’s been a year of big changes for Jenna Lyons.

After ending a 26-year run at the helm of J. Crew in April, the designer is stepping away from another relationship. Lyons, 49, and her longtime partner Courtney Crangi, 44, have split.

The news was revealed in a profile in the New York TimesT Magazine on Saturday about Lyons’SoHo home. No details were given about the split in the profile.

Lyons began dating Crangi, who is the sister and business partner of jeweler Philip Crangi, in 2011, after ending her nine-year marriage to husband, artist Vincent Mazeau. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the designer’s budding relationship with Crangi “absolutely” did not break up the Lyons-Mazeau marriage. Mazeau and Lyons share custody of son Beckett, and Crangi has three children from a previous relationship.

Lyons and Crangi did not go public with their relationship until November 2012, when the former J.Crew president and executive director thanked her girlfriend on stage at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. While accepting the the Fashion Original honor, she her speech by thanking “Courtney, who has shown me new love.” She also thanked her son “for reminding me that the world revolves around him every day.”

In a 2013 interview with the New York Times, Lyons opened up about struggling with who she was as younger child and finding acceptance and love in her relationship with Crangi.

“When I was young and people judged me for things I had no control over, that was really hard, so I’m incredibly open to people doing whatever works for them,” she said. “It’s just as surprising to me as it probably is to everyone else. It certainly is strange to wake up, at 44, and look at the person next to you and think: ‘Oh! This wasn’t what I expected.’ But I don’t think love works that way, and I am O.K. with that.”

In April, Lyons, who led the creative vision at J.Crew for the past 26 years, stepped down from her position as president and executive creative director.

“It has been beyond my wildest dreams to work with such an amazing team of people at such an incredible brand and alongside Mickey—one of retail’s most talented visionaries,” Lyons said in a statement. “I am excited about the next chapter for J.Crew as well as the opportunity for other creative leaders within the organization to step up and take on new responsibilities. Having spent the better part of my life with J.Crew, I feel an immense pride and love for everyone at the company.”

Serena Williams’ Wedding Dress Photos Are Here! Get All the Details on Her Custom Gown

Serena Williams‘ bridal style was a total Grand Slam.

The tennis champion, 36, married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 34, in a fairy tale dress that showed her love of fashion — and surely made close friend Anna Wintour very proud.

Williams shared all the details of her breathtaking Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen princess gown with Vogue

“I flew to London to meet with Sarah and ended up falling in love with the ball gown silhouette, which is completely the opposite of what I ever thought I would choose for myself,” the bride said of her wedding look that also featured a cape. “I loved the idea of doing a really spectacular ball gown, and it has turned out to be such an incredibly special piece.”

In addition to her strapless, belted gown, Williams sparkled thanks to jewelry by XIV Karats, worth $3.5 million in total.

Meanwhile, her groom wore an Armani suit.

The new parents to daughter Alexis Ohanian Jr. wed in an intimate ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana, in front of guests including Kris Jenner, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, LaLa Anthony and Prince Harry’s girlfriend and actress Meghan Markle.

And Williams changed into a second wedding look for the reception! The star looked gorgeous in a white strapless Versace dress that featured lace and feathers throughout the bodice.

“They worked nonstop to make sure the tiniest details were perfectly taken care of, for a total of 1,500 hours,” designer Donatella Versace told Vogue about the reception dress.

The couple began dating in 2015, revealed their engagement in December 2016, and exchanged vows less than three months after the birth of their first child together, who was born on September 1st.

Williams’ wedding dress was no doubt a design she’s been dreaming about for a long time. In September 2016, the champion athlete launched her third Signature Statement collection for HSN, and told PEOPLE that her passion for clothing is something that sparked during her childhood.

“I’ve been sewing my whole life. My mom taught me when I was young,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “I used to make clothes for my dolls. Then, when I finished high school, I went to fashion school.”

Williams attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale like her older sister Venus, 36, and the sisters continue to help each other with their designs.

“ is always looking at my sketches and is like, ‘I like that so much!’ and actually, I’m always at her office hanging out,” she said. “They’re always designing, and I’m like, ‘oh, I like that fabric better!’ We’re not competitive, it’s fun.”

Wiliams even revealed to PEOPLE she has hopes to launch a wedding dress collection one day.

“My dream is to do evening-wear and wedding dresses,” Williams said in 2016. “In school, I realized how much work that was, so at the end of school, I just got really smart and was like, evening wear is so intricate, and I love things that an everyday woman can wear and still feel good and look good, so I started . But there’s still that evening-wear dream, you know?”

Fergie Says Making Her New New Album Was a ‘Therapeutic’ Experience

Fergie fans waited 11 years for her new album to drop, but it was well worth it. More than a collection of pop bangers, Double Dutchess is a rallying cry for female empowerment. It’s a message that she held close to her heart while recording her solo comeback.

“From all the reactions to the album, it’s interesting how the songs that are more serious and more emotional and vulnerable are ones that are really connecting to people,” she told PEOPLE at the weekend re-launch of The Cove resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas, where she performed some of those emotional songs like “Save It Til Morning” and “A Little Work.”

“I released a lot of the faster ones first, but I guess the emotional ones are what people seem to be were craving from me. That, to me, means everything.”

Fergie, who split from husband Josh Duhamel after 8 years of marriage in September, added that she turns to female singers herself when she’s going through difficult times in her life.

“I have my go-to songs by Fiona Apple, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Alanis Morissette. Those are the ones that I go to and I play over and over again if I’m going through a breakup or if I’m going through a hard time and I need those strong, powerful, intense emotions. I need to hear somebody sing those words of exactly how I’m feeling to get through them,” she said. “If I can be that help to get anyone through the tough time they’re going through, that’s really the most that I can ask for as an artist. That to me is true success. For the rest of my life I will have touched somebody with that emotion, and that means so much to me.”

While recording her new record, the star was going through her own personal transformation and she said she found the process of making music cathartic.

“It’s therapeutic and I really want to feel something. Not just a little bit, I like to go big — go big or go home when it comes to emotion,” the 42-year-old shared. “Basically that goes into everything I do.”

One song in particular, she revealed, has been really speaking to fans: “A Little Work.”

The emotional ballad is a departure from the pop power anthems of her past, and she said the response has been heart-warming.

“That song has really been one that people are coming up to me and saying, ‘Look my friend’s house got destroyed and ‘A Little Work’ has really gotten us through it and helped us through it,’” she said. “That to me is everything. Thinking of all the natural disasters that have been happening and those first responders and victims of crisis and having to just triumph and overcome all of those hard times and painful moments.”

Fergie on Her Evolving Style: ‘It’s All Over the Map Just Like My Music’

No matter what, Fergie always looks glamorous. And the star is the first to admit that when it comes to her style, she doesn’t follow any rules — or stick to one certain aesthetic.

PEOPLE caught up with the fashion trailblazer at the relaunch of The Cove, the luxury resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, before she hit the stage to perform for a star-studded crowd on Saturday.

“It’s all over the map just like my music,” Fergie shared of her ever-changing style. “It’s a mood. I like to have fun with fashion and take risks. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t but I have fun with it and I like to always feel good in what I’m wearing.

The star added that she she only follows one fashion mantra: “You got to wear the outfit and not let the outfit wear you.”

“So if I’m wearing something that is extravagant, I’m owning it,” she adds.

Fergie’s concert was the pinnacle of a weekend-long beach getaway event to celebrate The “New” Cove, and all the VIPs in attendance, including Brooke Shields, Liev Schreiber, Drew Barrymore, Karolina Kurkova, Anthony Mackie, Jackie Cruz, Pom Klementieff, Christian Siriano, Zosia Mamet and sang along to The Dutchess’ songs.

Schreiber even got on stage with the singer during the Black Eyed Peas hit, “I Gotta Feeling.”

“The re-launch of the Cove is so great — I’ve been here before and I love coming back to places I’ve been before,” Fergie shared. “Everyone is in the Bahamas chilling and everyone is having a great time — they’re just in a good mood. We’re not in a stuffy room where people are crossing their arms.”

The singer also performed new songs from her vulnerable album Double Dutchess, which is her first new record in 11 years in the making. She told PEOPLE returning to the beach is always a cathartic experience for her.

“There’s something about the ocean for me that is calming,” she shared. “It’s relaxing but its super powerful at the same time. Hearing the waves helps me meditate and center.”

The A-listers in attendance didn’t only enjoy a dose of Fergie Ferg. They received the full VIP treatment at the 2-day trip which introduced the resort’s two new restaurants, newly designed private pools and luxe cabanas.

Chef José Andrés took a brief hiatus from helping victims in Puerto Rico, where he’s served more than one million hot meals to hurricane victims, to introduce a new dish from his upcoming restaurant FISH by José Andrés, which is opening at the property in February. The 250 guests dined on Conch Salpicon, a dish which paid tribute to local Bahamian cuisine and featured pomegranate, radish, cucumber, green pepper, tomato and salmon roe.

Designer Lulu de Kwiatkowski also debuted her revamped curated poolscape at the hotel. Her bright prints were featured on lounge chairs, umbrellas and the ultimate in luxe beachside necessities — a customized surfboard.

Carrie Underwood Takes Us Inside Her CMA Awards Dressing Room

Carrie Underwood is gearing up to host her 10th CMA Awards on Wednesday, and in between performance rehearsals she’s focusing on one thing: Her wardrobe. Underwood is known for her epic fashion parade at country music’s biggest night and judging by the exclusive first look she just gave us inside her dressing room, the singer is definitely getting ready to top her 10 outfit changes from last year’s show.

“Looking through one of many racks in my dressing room backstage at Bridgestone Arena,” Underwood shared with PEOPLE along with a photo (above) from her dressing room. “Found some great looks for Wednesday night!”

The rack includes a mix of sexy minis, sequin dresses and statement ball gowns — and we can’t wait to see what Underwood and her stylist Marina Toybina have in store.

Before last year’s show, Underwood told PEOPLE that she doesn’t try on every dress during rehearsals.

“When we get the running order of the show, we’re like, ‘Okay these are complicated so we’re gonna need more time,’ so we try to just plan where things that might need a little more time get a little more time,” she explains. “And there are easy changes, like, ‘Oh, we have five minutes, that’s a lifetime in TV-quick-change world. We make the time count.”

Her record for a quick backstage change? Forty seconds during the CMAs in 2012.

“That 40-second quick change we tried in rehearsal because it was such a fast change, and I run backstage and someone holds a sheet up and I busted a zipper in rehearsal,” she says. “And everybody was worried I was not going to make it back out for the actual show and I was like, ‘It’s okay, we’ll fix the zipper.’ The zipper was one of those little hidden, flimsy plastic zippers. So they trusted me and we made it work. But during the entire run through I had to hold the back of my dress shut.”

So while you may be watching the CMA Awards for the performances, we’re mainly tuning in for Underwood’s epic outfit changes.

Lais Ribeiro Will Wear This Year’s $2 Million Fantasy Bra at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

The Victoria’s Secret models never forget earning their wings. But there is one honor that tops even Angel status: getting to wear the coveted fantasy bra on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show runway. And this year that honor goes to Brazilian-born bombshell and VS runway vet, Lais Ribeiro.

Shanghai will mark the 27-year-old model’s sixth Victoria’s Secret Fashion show, and her first time wearing the Fantasy Bra.

“I never cried so much in my entire life — and I have a baby,” Ribeiro said of her initial reaction (which you can watch in the exclusive clip above!) when she found out she would be wearing the $2 million Champagne Nights Fantasy bra. “It was so emotional. I couldn’t believe it when they told me. It was so beautiful.”

Weighing more than 600 carats, this year’s blinged-out bra is designed exclusively for Victoria’s Secret by jeweler Mouawad and is handset with diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz in 18 karat gold on a custom Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Demi Bra. The ornate design took almost 350 hours to create and is embellished with nearly 6,000 precious gemstones.

“Who doesn’t dream about wearing the Fantasy Bra — I mean it’s an honor to be among Gisele , Candice , Adriana , and all the big top models who have worn it in the past,” Ribeiro gushed. “I get too emotional talking about this. I have to work on that.”

During her fitting, the model made sure to FaceTime her family, who was just as emotional as she was.

“I asked my brother to put everybody on the phone: my grandma, grandpa, my mom, uncles, everybody in the room and then I told them and it was just me crying on the side and my entire family on the other side crying,” she said. “They’re jumping; my sister dropped the phone. It was amazing.”

Ribeiro said that the first time she tried the bra on it was a “perfect” fit and no alterations needed to be made.

“It felt so amazing. I think a lot of emotions that I had inside of me over the seven years all came out at once,” she shared. “I was just so happy and so proud and so thankful to wear the bra. I couldn’t believe. I swear to God three days later I was like pinching myself literally like, ‘This is not happening.’ I can’t believe. I kept asking my boyfriend, asking my close friends, ‘Is this for real, seriously?’ I couldn’t believe it.”

While she may be wearing the most expensive piece of lingerie in this year’s show, Ribeiro maintains that her first VS fashion show will always be the most nerve-wracking.

“Literally, I don’t know how my legs kept going” she shared. “It somehow didn’t look like I was nervous, but you know that feeling when you workout and the inside of you shakes, that’s how I felt. My legs were just shaking and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, how am I going to control this.’ And my wings were so big!”

Ribeiro might be one of the top lingerie models in the world, but she said growing up that Victoria’s Secret wasn’t on her radar.

“I’m from a very tiny city in Brazil and I knew Gisele and Adriana and Alessandra, but I wasn’t into the fashion world until I was in it,” she said. “I was supposed to be a nurse, but when I was introduced to modeling it changed. I was like, ‘I want to be a Victoria’s Secret model,’ Who doesn’t wanna be? And now I’m just amazed to be one of them.”

The catwalker adds that her Angel idol and soundboard in the business is Adriana Lima.

“She is my buddy. We are friends and she is open to new girls. She is always helping and such an example and inspiration to all the young girls,” Ribeiro shared. “She was just open to me and we became friends. I was very happy for that.”

This year the show will be in Shanghai, China at the Mercedes Benz Arena, which holds more people than any of the previous Victoria’s Secret Fashion show venues. The runway will also feature the debut of the Victoria’s Secret x Balmain collaboration. But even with all those eyes, Ribeiro keeps her cool.

“My family is very religious so I try to pray and to concentrate and focus and calm myself down — that’s all I do before the show,” she said. “Oh, and did I mention I’m wearing the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra? You’re going to love it. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.”

You’ll Want to Live in This Cindy Crawford-Approved Athleisure Line All Season Long

When you think of Malibu you probably think of three things: the beach, bonfires and Miley Cyrus. And now former actress and photographer Lyndie Benson wants to give you a taste of the Southern California Coast lifestyle with her new luxe athleisure line, BLEUSALT, that is so soft you’ll never want to take if off. Even better: It’s sustainable!

The 25-year Malibu local started BLEUSALT with the desire to launch a label that is “casual but still chic.”

“There’s nothing like that except for cashmere,” Benson told PEOPLE at the launch of her brand Saturday at the Malibu Ranch at Malibu Pier. “So I started to explore making pieces out of this beechwood material. It’s softer than cotton. It’s a tree that is sustainable because it propagates by itself. So in other words it plants itself in these forests. It’s the most amazing fabric. There’s no chemicals in it and it’s sustainable.”

The women’s collection ranges in price from $188 to $349 and includes a hoodie, wrap, jogger pant, button-down shirt, skirt and duster. There’s also men’s hoodie and button-down.

“I was looking for a certain piece that didn’t exist,” Benson explained. “When you’re in the sand or in the moisture, cashmere doesn’t work, this material does. And you can put it in the washer and dryer!”

And when it came to vetting her new line, she turned to another Malibu resident and fashion tastemaker: Her close friend Cindy Crawford!

“Cindy wanted a certain kind of pants for tall girls – she likes those that kind of flair, so I made her a pair,” Benson said.

Crawford was also on hand to fête BLEUSALT, along with Lisa Rinna, Minnie Driver, Sara Foster and Jennifer Meyer at the Saturday launch event, and the supermodel shared with PEOPLE that she “loves” the fabric of the product.

“Lyndie has influence on me. We’ve been friends since before I was even a mother. She just has incredible style in everything she does, from the way she throws a kids party, to the way she hosts a dinner,” Crawford shared. “She’s just a very detailed person with great taste, so I’m happy to learn from her.”

Crawford added that the BLEUSALT pieces fill a void for “cute, everyday” clothing.

“I think Malibu is that perfect lifestyle where you can wear casual clothes pretty much anywhere, but you still want to feel like a luxe feeling, and I think that these few pieces are the perfect things,” she said. “I love seeing how everyone is wearing them differently tonight.”

Taylor Swift Addresses That Sexy Naked Bodysuit from Her ‘…Ready for It’ Music Video

Taylor Swift’s Reputation album roll out has been packed with easter eggs. The singer’s latest record is basically being decoded live on the Internet, just as Tay intended. Right now, her new music video is currently a hotly debated topic on social media. While Swift hasn’t confirmed or denied any of the hidden meanings in “…Ready for It,” she is setting the record straight about one thing: She wasn’t naked at any point during the 3:31-minute clip.

While it appeared that Swift was playing a naked cyborg in the highly visual video, complete with robs and lots of lightening, she was actually wearing a high-tech bodysuit the whole time. On Friday, the singer shared behind-the-scenes photo from set showing the light-up suit.

“It truly warms my heart that people had so much to say about this bodysuit,” she captioned one photo, dressed in the nude onesie featuring sheer panels.

The new wave of Swift’s music has also marked a style transformation for the star. She’s remained committed to her bangs, curly hair texture and she’s embracing an edgy, trendy wardrobe complete with everything from camo prints to over-the-knee boots to shirts as dresses — yes, she’s a lampshader now.

For the Reputation secret sessions, the singer has been gathering lucky fans for private listening parties in Rhode Island, London and Nashville and the photos are being leaked all over the Internet. Her hotly anticipated sixth studio album lands Nov. 10.

See Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander’s Wedding Bands

They put rings on it!

Low-profile couple Michael Fassbender, 40, and Alicia Vikander, 29, tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony in Ibiza over the weekend, sources confirmed to PEOPLE. And they have the rings to prove it.

On Sunday, the couple was seen celebrating and wearing wedding bands — a simple gold ring on Fassbender and a diamond ring on Vikander. The gathering appeared to be after the couple exchanged vows at the upscale La Granja farmstead resort surrounded by close friends and family.

The couple met on the set of the 2014 film The Light Between Oceans, in which they played a married couple. And while we don’t yet know what Vikander wore on her wedding day, we’ll always have this photo of the couple from their on-screen nuptials.

Both Fassbender and Vikander have been very keen on keeping their relationship status private and out of the gossip cycle.

“I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us,” Vikander told Entertainment Weekly while promoting The Light Between Oceans. “It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal.”

For Fassbender, remaining under the radar and out of the spotlight comes naturally: “Each to their own. I’m not going to talk about my private life with a total stranger, unless I feel like I need to. Why would I? I don’t.”
