HollywoodLife is flip-flopping on whether Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a secret wedding, just days after speculating the couple had gotten married. Gossip Cop can expose what’s going on.
Last week, Billy Ray Cyrus posted an Instagram photo of his daughter wearing a white dress, along with the caption, “I’m so happy… you are happy.” HollywoodLife then published an article about “fans wondering” if the picture means Cyrus and Hemsworth are “officially husband and wife.” The site itself theorized this might be the case, saying that her white gown is “similar to the Bohemian style we’d expect Miley to wear if it was her wedding day.”
But shortly after the article was posted, Cyrus’ manager shot down the claim that the singer was secretly married. This led HollywoodLife to write a follow-up article purporting to “exclusively” know the reason why “these two don’t have plans to wed any time soon.” The webloid quotes a seemingly fake source as saying, “They are not in a rush at all… They are all about their career goals right now and love that they are a support system for each other. To them, marriage means babies, and they aren’t ready to be parents.”
But despite these latest assertions, the outlet doesn’t appear to have any real insight when it comes to Cyrus and Hemsworth’s relationship. The site first speculated the singer was married based on a photo, and after that was debunked, the webloid suddenly claims to have “sources” who can reveal the supposed reason Cyrus and Hemsworth haven’t tied the knot.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the outlet has changed directions after first spreading misinformation about the couple. Gossip Cop previously called out HollywoodLife for flip-flopping on Cyrus and Hemsworth getting married on New Year’s Eve.
